Complete tour around Cusco. We will be able to see the most important archaeological sites from Cusco, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and we will have and adventure trip to The inca trail and the Apruimac River.

1nd  DAY:

 3rd DAY: The Sacred Valley
The
seventh day we will go through the Sacred   Valley , where we'll see Pisaq and Ollantaytambo both important archeological sites Cusco  

 4th, 5th and 6th DAY: Apurimac rafting
Expedition to one of the deepest and ten best rivers for rafting in the world.  We will run and challenge the Apurimac   River rapids which run from class II up to class V rapids. Overnight in Conoc. See daily itynerary for Apurimac Rafting 3 days

7th DAY:

Day off at conoc hot springs
8th TO 11th DAY: Inca trail or Salkantay trek  to
Machu Picchu

Trek through the highlands and canyons of eastern Peru . Salkantay is the center piece of this trek, it is a 6270 m ., with glaciers spilling from its jagged peak. The high point of the trek is the 4626 Salkantay pass.  You camp in small villages and get to experience how the local highland people live. There are no ruins to speak of on the way, but the trek ends in Aguas Calientes, the town just below Machu Picchu. The last morning after we ended our trek and made the 4 mile hike straight up the Incan stairs to Machu Picchu . Overnight in Cusco  

12thDAY:

Flight back to Lima and Home. .

Meals Included: All meals on The Inca Trail or Salkantay trek, Rafting trip. 

Accommodation: Simple hotels/guest houses, camping, lodge and home stays; some nights may be multi-share

Sleeping bag (menus 15 degrees). for the Inca trail

-Mosquito repellent, for the Inca trail and Jungle trip

-Regular mountaineering clothes for the trekking (Hiking shoes and trainers, hat during the hike, socks, worm cloths, gloves, woollen hat to cover the ears, rain coat.) For Inca Trail.

-Sun Block

-Flash Light for the trekking

-Bottle water to fill the bottle up with water. For the trekking

-Personal medical kit

-Items that you consider very import during the trek

We recommend bringing pills for altitude sickness, and stomaching problems, this is the most frequent trouble for travellers.

Itinerary Notes.

The Hotel we use in Lima are La Castellana , Casa Andina and some other of 3 and 4 stars. In Cusco we use Casona real, Casa Andina Royal Inca and some others. All are hotels and Hostals 4 and 3 stars

The times cited are approximate for the trekking. Walking times depend on the group and the guide can change lunch spots and campsites, depending the progress of the group.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for this hike in a 8 day/ 7 night itinerary
