ITINERARY

1st Day:
Arrival (
Lima)

Flight to Cusco
2nd Day: Pisco
4 hours drive in the Peruvian coast down to Pisco.

3rd Day:
Ballestas Island
Is a 3 hours tour. The
Ballestas Islands is an important wildlife reserve, with over 160 species of marine birds, including Humboldt penguins, cormorants, boobies and pelicans. Nature is very lovely and helps the people who appreciates and relax.
After this tour we going to Huacachina, this small desert oasis consists of a quiet lagoon surrounded by sand dunes, palm trees and huarangos (carob trees). We can have sand boarding or ride around in a dune buggy.
8 pm bus to Nazca, (Hotel)

4th Day: Naca Lines
Visit The Nazca Lines, an enormous network of lines and drawings of plants and animals that cover an area of some 350 square km, provide an unforgettable experience for those who fly over them.
Little trip down toMummies and archeological rest in the
Cemetery of Chauchilla, 30 km away from Nazca.
10 pm night bus To Arequipa.

5th Day:
A morning rest. City tour.

6th and 7th Day: Colca Canyon
North of Arequipa is the amazing
Colca Canyon. Twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in North America, the distance from the Colca riverbed to the top of the cliff is more than 13,100 feet, we will have a nice trek and also it will be possible to have a relax time in the calkeera hot springs. A little bus ride to Cruz del Condor where we can appreciate the
canyon and the impressive condors flying.
After this will return to Chivay (Hotel)
8th Day:
6 hours bus to Puno and, City tour

9th and 10th Day: Titicaca lake tour Taquile, Amantani and Uros Island
Lake Titicaca, the highest elevated navigable lake in the world. we visit Uros Islands, home of the oldest civilization of the region. These islands, made out of totora, a combination of reed and mud, float on the lake. We continue to Taquile Island that preserves remarkable customs, in dress and we coming back to Puno after two amazing Days on the blue waters of Lake Titicaca.
4th Puno Hotel.

11th Day:
6 hours Bus travel to Cusco, beautiful scenery, we will see the flat land from the altiplano, down to the Cusco Andes we can see how nature is changing during the trip.
• In the afternoon we will have a Cusco city Tour

12th Day: Sacred Valley tour
Visit to Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, important archaeological sites, is a nice and Cultural trip into the Incas history.

13th, 14th, 15th, 16th Day: Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Day off.

18th, 19th Day: Jungle trip
Two day into the one of the most important reserves from The Amazonian, the Tambobata reserve the first day we will have a nice trip by boat to the lodge and the second day we will have the tour around this reserve.
20th Day:
Back to Puerto Maldonado
Flight back to Lima
21th Day:
Flight back home

 hike, socks, worm cloths, gloves, woollen hat to cover the ears, rain coat.) For Inca Trail

-Flash Light for the trekking

-Bottle water to fill the bottle up with water. For the trekking

-Personal medical kit

-Items that you consider very import during the trek

We recommend bringing pills for altitude sickness, and stomaching problems, this is the most frequent trouble for travellers.

Itinerary Notes.

The Hotel we use in Lima are La Castellana , Casa Andina and some other of 3 and 4 stars. In Cusco we use Casona real, Casa Andina Royal Inca and some others. All are hotels and Hostals 4 and 3 stars

The times cited are approximate for the trekking. Walking times depend on the group and the guide can change lunch spots and campsites, depending the progress of the group.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for this hike in a 8 day/ 7 night itinerary
