ITINERARY

1st Day:
We will depart from Cusco by Bus, following the Sacred Valley route until the district of Huaran (2850 m above sea level) place from where we will begin our walking, along which we will be able to observe several kinds of crops such as fruit trees. Then, we will have some snacks in Sumacpampa where we will arrive after 2 hours walking. We continue the trekking ascending towards the town of Cancha Cancha (3900 m above sea level) that will take us 2 more hours. We will be able to observe diverse species of flora, and beautiful rainfalls, Here we are going to establish our first camp site.

2nd Day:
Very early we will leave towards Queococha, where we will observe the two beautiful lagoons of Acopata. Then, we will continue to the highest point of the pass Pachaqutec which is located at an altitude of 4 600 m above sea level after that we will descend for about 2 hours, next we will descend the pass of Candarian and see the lagoon at this place. Getting down we will get to Qollalay where we will rest.
Following to Queococha, we will go through the town of Quishuarani, a small town dedicated to the agriculture, then, ascending we will reach to Queococha (4 100 m.s.n.m.), place where we will establish our second camp site.

3rd Day:
Starting from this lagoon we will go to the thermal baths of Lares. Hiking up to the last pass called Cuncani we will be able to see the two most beautiful lagoons Wiki Cocha and Azul Cocha and opposite to them the snowcapped pick of Qolquechacana and the rainfall of Awayman, to descend until the town of Cuncani. Here, it is possible to fish trouts. After 4 more hours walking, we will arrive to the thermal baths of Lares, to take our snacks and have recomfortable baths in its warm waters. Then, we will return to Cusco, trip that will take about 4 hours.
